Prevas supplying traceability solution to Orica
Orica Mining Services (previously Dyno Nobel) in Gyttorp manufactures, develops and markets fuse material and bulk explosives for the mining and contracting industries. As a means of achieving full traceability in its production, Orica is investing in a new traceability solution developed by Prevas.
The system solution is based on Prevas' sound experience and includes modules from previously developed traceability solutions. Prevas' total commitment includes, for example, project management, system development and support of the production critical system.
"Prevas' experience in production-related IT solutions and its procedures for managing projects, in combination with the company´s ability to provide total commitment, prompted us to select Prevas as our cooperation partner," says Mats Andersson, IT Project Manager at Orica Mining Services.
